What makes Solaris Realm different from other solar kit stores?
We’re not a catalog — we’re a movement.
Solaris Realm focuses on:
- Clear guidance
- Purpose-built systems
- Cinematic lifestyle inspiration
- Honest, jargon-free support
- A community of independence-seekers
We empower people to take control of their energy — and their lives.
What size solar system do I need?
Every home, cabin, or travel rig has different energy needs.
The easiest way to size your system is to look at:
- Your daily watt-hour (Wh) usage
- Whether you need off-grid, hybrid, or backup power
- Your peak appliances (AC units, microwaves, pumps, compressors)
If you’re unsure, our team will size your system for free based on a quick checklist of your current or planned power usage.
Are Solaris Realm solar kits beginner-friendly?
Yes — that’s the point.
Our systems are curated to take the confusion out of solar.
You’ll get:
- Clearly labeled components
- Simple diagrams
- Realm Academy install guides
- Real human support if you get stuck
No jargon. No guesswork. Just clarity.
Do your kits work during a power outage?
Yes.
Any off-grid or hybrid kit we sell can automatically power essential circuits during an outage.
Grid-tie kits must be paired with batteries to stay on when the grid fails.
If you want the lights to stay on during an outage, choose a Hybrid or Solar Independence Kit.
How long do your batteries last?
We use the best and newest technology — the safest and longest-lasting solar battery available.
You can expect:
- 3,000–6,000 cycles
- 10–15 years of lifespan
- High stability and low degradation
Buy once. Power for a decade.
Can I install your solar kits myself?
Many customers install their own setups, especially cabins, vans, and portable systems.
If you’re comfortable with tools and basic wiring, you’ll do great.
For home hybrid systems, some customers choose a licensed electrician to connect the final 240V components. Either approach works — we support both.
Do I need permits?
For off-grid cabins, vans, RVs, boats, and portable setups — no permits required.
For grid-connected home systems, your local jurisdiction may require:
- Electrical permit
- Structural/roof permit (sometimes)
- Interconnection approval from your utility
We’ll guide you through this if needed.
How long does shipping take?
Most items ship within 3–5 business days.
Large kits may arrive on a pallet via freight.
We’ll send tracking, delivery instructions, and a support line in case you have questions.
Do the panels come with a warranty?
Yes — all Solaris Realm kits include:
- 25-year panel warranty
- Manufacturer inverter warranty
- 5- to 10-year battery warranty (depending on model)
- Solaris Realm lifetime support
We stand behind every system.
What happens if something breaks?
You’re covered.
We help diagnose the issue and coordinate warranty replacement fast — no runaround, no confusion.
Real humans, real support.
Do I need to be a solar expert to order the right kit?
Not at all.
Solaris Realm exists to guide people who aren’t experts.
Tell us:
- Where you live
- What you want to power
- Your goals (off-grid, backup, hybrid, travel)
We’ll handle the rest.
Can your kits run an AC unit, well pump, or refrigerator?
Yes — but you need the right inverter size and battery pairing.
Our Solar Independence Kits are specifically designed to handle:
- Refrigerators
- Freezers
- Well pumps
- CPAP machines
- Window AC units
- Tool charging
- And more
Tell us your appliances — we’ll match the right kit.
Can your systems be expanded later?
Most of our kits are modular, meaning you can:
- Add more batteries
- Increase solar array size
- Upgrade inverter capacity
- Expand your setup as your lifestyle grows
Start small or start big — your realm grows with you.
Do your portable power stations work with solar panels?
Yes.
All our portable power units have solar input ports, and most support fast solar charging.
They’re perfect for:
- Camping
- Van life
- Home emergency backup
- RV supplemental power
